Today, after I woke up, ate breakfast and prepare myself, we went to a
"metro" station by car. There we met with Natalia and Asia. Together we
took a train to Delhi. It was really crowded, even though we were at
"ladies only" zone. While sitting in it, we met Weronika and Kasia. When
we all left the train, we went to a main bazar in the city. Near that, a
huge Indian flag was hanging. The underground bazar was visited by the
exchange students. It was something different from what we're used to in
Poland, but very interesting. The only problem was that there was no
fresh air and a lot of people were burning incenses, so it was all
mixing. After returning to the surface we managed to go to shops near
the street. Some of
us bought clothes and jewellery. Kasia, Weronika and I bought very
similar "kurti" - an Indian shirt with embroidered flowers near the
décolletage. The next step o our trip was "Janpath" - another market,
where we saw a lot of colourful things. After getting out of there, we
were able to taste "butter milk" and "salt milk". They tasted really
different from regular milk. Then we had a lunch in McDonald's, the food
here is not the same as in Poland's McD. Walking slowly, we had reached
a "metro" station and returned home, where I ate "Ladu" - orange, sweet
balls. Later my hosts showed me traditional Indian dresses, and I went
to bed. By Julia Chmiel
